AM – Panel Discussion: Millennials & beyond – hiring & employing the modern workforce

A panel of local business representatives & program alumni will lead a discussion regarding local hiring challenges, best practices & insight on changing workforce/workplace, followed by Q&A (McAlister Suite, registered employers welcome)

12-3:30PM JOB FAIR (TD Arena)

PM – Open Mic Event: Hiring Local, a town hall style discussion

A panel of local educational program representatives will provide direction & insight regarding engaging their programs and students. Discussion will cover practical direction, student & programmatic expectations, and a how to for successful engagement with academic programs. Active Q&A is encouraged. (Arena Floor, all are welcome)

Parking & Transportation for attendees:

Parking for the event will be available at local area garages*. You are encouraged to use complimentary DASH or other CARTA services stopping on Meeting Street, or please take advantage of the complimentary supplementary services to be provided by Gray Line Tours as outlined below. *Free or discounted parking will not be available for attendees.

Transportation between the CofC North facility, Trident Technical College North Charleston and Downtown facilities, and The Culinary Institute of Charleston will be provided free of charge by Gray Line Tours of Charleston throughout the day. Charleston area residents are welcome to use the transportation provided, additional details on shuttle times & exact pickup locations will be forthcoming.
