Iron Chef Competition to Take Place This Friday, Sept. 26


Four local chefs are preparing to duke it out this Friday, September 26, at the Taste of Charleston Iron Chef Competition, which will be held at the Culinary Institute of Charleston’s Palmer Campus from 6-9pm. After the secret ingredient is announced, chefs will have 45 minutes to create and cook at least four dishes to be judged a panel of culinary experts.

This year’s competing chefs are: Kelly Franz of Magnolias and Landen Ganstrom of Crave Kitchen + Cocktails versus Allison Porter of Tristan Events and Mike Petrillo of Lokal Seabar Restaurant.




Attendees will also enjoy commentary from the Iron Chef emcees, which include Michael Saboe, Miles Huff and John Ondo.
