Tickets are now on sale for the 32nd Annual Lowcountry Oyster Festival, set to take place on Sunday, January 25, 2015 at Boone Hall Plantation in Mount Pleasant. Coined the world’s largest oyster festival, the Lowcountry Oyster Festival has been named one of the “top 20 events in the southeast” by the Southeastern Tourism Society.
Highlights of the annual event include the “Oyster Eating” and “Oyster Shucking” contests, live music, wine, a selection of domestic and imported beers, a children’s area, and a “Food Court” that showcases a variety of local restaurants to satisfy everyone’s taste.
A portion of the proceeds will benefit local charities including The Ronald McDonald House, Hospitality Heroes, Hollings Cancer Center, Shriners Hospitals for Children and Charleston County Schools Science Materials Resource Center.
Advance General Admission tickets are $17.50 per person, or $25 at the gate. VIP tickets are also available for $100 each, which grant guests easy access to the entry gate, access to the VIP tent, and a voucher for a bucket of oysters. Click here to purchase your tickets online today.
